Hi Everyone! Happy First week of classes & Happy weekend! 

We're so excited to have you on the team! We're going to have such a fun time together! Thank you for everyone that was able to attend training on Sunday and Monday. If you were unable to attend training on those days please look over the powerpoint that is posted on Canvas. If you were unable to make those trainings you should have received an email from Holly about a make-up training. 

Clearances 

Just as a reminder we do need everyone's clearances to host students overnight. If you haven't done so already please send us your clearances. Here are the links if you need to get new clearances:

Event Days

Event days are the easiest and biggest day to help out as an Ambassador. On event days there are a couple ways that you as Ambassadors can help out. You can help out in the morning as a greeter, transitions, and of course TOURS TOURS and more TOURS. The more tour guides we have the smaller the tour groups can be and the more connections that can be made. Here is the link for signing up for event days: Event Day Sign-up

Overnight Hosting

Overnight Hosting is a great way to connect with prospective students before they attend an event. We have 4 overnight hosting opportunities this semester. Every student is required to host 2 prospective students this semester. Here is the link to sign-up: Overnight Hosting Sign-up

Evening/Saturday Visits

Evening/Saturday visits are a way for prospective students or guests can't make it to campus during the day or on event days. For evening/Saturday visits we will be giving tours on those days as well. It is another great opportunity to earn EASY points. Teams

This year we have created teams throughout the Ambassador team to add a little friendly competition. Each Core Team Leader has their own team they are in charge of. The point of the teams are to provide support for our Ambassadors so we will be having hang-outs, asking questions, etc. On Canvas you will find what team you are on because you will be put into a group for your team. Just like we have points for individuals who participate on event days you will also earn points for your team as well so at the end of the semester/year there might be a little extra prize for the team that has the most points! 😉
